I was so happy to find an electrician in our neighborhood and I was pleasantly rewarded with a job well done. We were building a large backyard deck with several complex lighting and electrical needs. A First's response time was quick. Understanding that we were in somewhat of a rush, Manuel was even able to move up our scheduled appointment since his guys were in the neighborhood. His team was efficient and professional. When our deck guy noticed some logistical issues the next day, Manuel quickly responded and came out himself to make the necessary adjustments. It was a pleasure doing business with these guys.

I needed a few dimmers and outlets (one outside and a few inside) installed at my home, and I called a bunch of different electricians. A few of them couldn't come until the following week, one came and was super rude, but Manuel was able to arrive in just a few hours to give me an estimate. Because Manuel's prices seemed very fair -- and he was extremely courteous and respectful -- I decided to go with him.

His workers arrived on time on the day that we agreed upon, and got started promptly with their tasks. They covered up every area where they had to drill and were very neat with the layout of their tools and equipment. They made sure to check with me at each stage to confirm what I wanted/needed. And in the end -- they stayed all day -- they swept up all the dust and debris and left my place cleaner than when they had started.

All outlets and dimmers work perfectly, and I'm very satisfied with the work. I would hire them again without reservation. Much thanks to Manuel and his crew.

Best electrician..... Had a non licence electrician come to my house first told him the problem and wanted to rewire a section my house..... A first electrician technician came found the problem without rewiring my house. Technician was honest and only charged me fair.

Within 24 hours of messaging Manuel on Yelp, I had my new fan installed in my condo, which is an AMAZING turn around time.

Manuel was pretty much exactly on time, diagnosed what would need to be done for the fan installation, installed the bugger and gave me some advice for other modifications I should make in the condo.

Incredibly nice guy, to boot.

So, if you're burning up in this intense heat right now and need some relief, run down to home depot, buy a ceiling fan, call A First Electric and have them install it on the quick.

Manuel is the best !!!

I'm a new home owner and recently purchased a flipped home that was renovated to a half-ass standard.

Manuel saved me and my investment by bringing all my electric to code. He handled all the details from permit to inspection, kept me well informed, and was always courteous and respectful. I couldn't have felt more at ease knowing he was the man on the job.

I highly value Manuel's integrity, expertise, and exquisite standards. He was referred to me by my parents and within moments of meeting him, I knew why. Upon first meeting, he exceeded my expectations, and he continued to impress through to the work's completion.

I gave it 1 star because there is not an option for zero. Found them in Home concepts magazine. They advertised putting in ceiling fans for 120 dollars each. Sounded great, and even told Manuel we had other work for him that he could do while here. Gave him a list. We purchased all he asked to have here for the work. Two ceiling fans, motion lights etc. he confirmed the day before he would be here the next day at 0830. Guess where this is going....did not show. Waited and waited, called repeatedly only to voicemail. Never returned the call. Never showed up. Hard to believe all of his other seven reviews are five starts. My guess is Manuel has 7 friends......or he has seven separate emails, and reviewed himself. Stay away from this joker at all costs!

Manuel wired our new kitchen after the electrician we had hired left us high and dry. Manuel found and corrected many mistakes the other guy had made and didn't leave until he was satisfied that everything was done perfectly.
I will hire him again for any electrical jobs I have and have already recommended him to others.

Manuel is the best Electrician I have ever worked with. He has helped us since 2010 with all our landscaping lights, interior lights, security cameras, and everything else electrical. He is very reliable, trust worthy, pleasant, punctual and does quality work at a very reasonable price. I wish I could clone him for all other types of work I need done around my house.
