It's been awhile since I wrote a review but this is a must. Mark and his team performed par excellence. I messaged Mark through the Yelp messages and he was always prompt in the response. Price was very good compared to everyone else, service was quick and in order (under 1 hour for Tesla wall connector install + NEMA 14-50 install). There was an issue with the city of Anaheim (FYI as of 2022 the city requires GFCI on their 50A or less breaker such as the NEMA 14-50; California will adopt this statewide Jan 2023. Also, if you live in Anaheim, you qualify for two rebates, each either $400 or $1000 each!) and Mark with his team fixed the issue by putting in a GFCI 14-50 breaker.

They arrived in a clean, well kept van with two people. Everything was done professionally, what more can you ask? I highly, HIGHLY recommend A-EV installs.

I had Mark out 3 years ago to install 240V in garage with plug in EV charger. What a great job! BUT... I called in to get a 2nd charger installed this last week and a nice guy came out and installed it. But after paying him for the job (with a cash tip for his fast work), the charger would blow the breakers after about a minute or so of charging. So the ""ready light"" worked, but the system had not really been checked out. So I called in the next day and asked for someone to come out and see if we could make it all work. A supposed ""manager"" came out (If Mark still works there he doesn't answer his calls) with a helper, and started to give me reasons why this would never work -- 1) #10 wires (that were part of the ClipperCreek charger itself) were not to code; 2) timer I had in the circuit was a bad idea (been using it for 8 years with the old charger); and 3) there was something wrong with the breakers (they never got me to understand what was wrong, and what would be needed to fix it). I got frustrated -- all I wanted was what was needed to be done to make the charger work! I asked to have Mark call me, and they said (as they drove off) ""Call him yourself""! I have tried. Either Mark is no longer with the firm, or on vacation, or....??? I have left multiple messages and NO ONE has CALLED ME BACK!

Installed Tesla charger I garage and ran conduit 70 yards from other side of house and switched out a couple of old breakers inside panel. Looks clean and well done!

They arrived promptly as scheduled at 8:00am. They completed installation of a NEMA 14-50 Plug in the garage in less than 1.5 hours. They cleaned up as they were working. The price was $1,410 for 55 feet, right about what they quoted.

The quote was completed quickly last week and work was scheduled by the estimator. I would definitely recommend A-EV.

Highly recommend for your EV charging needs. Mark the owner, was very responsive via Yelp and they have a robust website for uploading photos of your panel and area to get an accurate quote. We were able to get it installed within a few days of initially reaching out. Husband was at home and everything went smoothly and Brandon installed the conduit and NEMA 14-50 plug. A few months later, the heavy duty plug works great and has been keeping the EV happy.

A-EV installed our Tesla wall connector and we are very pleased. I received no BS pricing via Yelp and we set an install time. The electrician arrived on-time and completed the work quickly. I had pre-cleaned the area and made room for the work and he left it spotless. They stand behind their work and gave me a 1yr warranty should I have any issues with the install. I'm now charging at 48A for right at 12kW after hours.

I'm sure other do good work but A-EV is who I'm recommending to all of my friends with new EVs.
