One bad review can damage a company's reputation...Luckily I was able to see past that after speaking with Fernando of A & F electrical and I hired him to do a job at my property. His pricing was fair, his team were hard working and they got everything done in time. Clean, polite and high quality workmanship. Working in the real estate industry I come across a lot of different trades/contractors and can recognize bad from good. A&F are definitely one of the good guys

I called A&F Electric to replace two outlets that were not working; one at my rental property and one at my home. Fernando responded quickly and was professional. He repaired the outlets and they are now working. This was the second time I used him. A few weeks ago he came out to replace three light switches at another rental unit. Fernando was skilled, professional and reasonable. My tenant called me after the job was done saying how nice he was and very professional. Thank you Fernando. Keep up the good work! I was referred to this company from his reviews on Next door, where everyone was so pleased by his work.

***STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS-LAW SUIT FILED AGAINST THEM***

My elderly parents hired this electrician to install recessed lighting and change an electrical panel. Fernando A. is the owner and the only listed employee. This was a total bait and switch scam. Fernando began the job, disconnected the old panel. Immediately the city of Burbank was notified that our home was receiving power, while the meter was disconnected. The city inspector arrived the next day. The first thing he

A and F did not bother to get a permit for the panel change. Needless to say, my parents were fined and reprimanded by the city of Burbank. They paid hundreds of dollars in fines, the power was shut off for weeks. Once the city outlined what was required for the panel change, Fernando TRIPLED the original estimate! This guy knew, or should have known while being a licensed electrician that this job required a permit. He knew the city would come, my parents would be in a jam and they would have to agree to his ridiculous price increase. What he didn't count on was me calling other electricians to figure out what the hell was going on.

I managed to get the job done per code with a real professional licensed electrician for less than half of what this A and F was trying to charge. This Fernando A. is unscrupulous, and out to take advantage of people. I will be posting pics of the law suit (which is public record), and the complaints I am filing with the Contractors State License Board. They need to be aware of what this guy is doing.

Fernando has done several jobs for me, large and small. His prices are reasonable and he always explains very clearly what needs to be done for the job to be completed professionally. He shows up on time and cleans up after the work is completed. Most recently he installed a new electric outlet for a microwave, an indoor electric panel and several new wall outlets at a property I own. He brought the property up to code and it is now a safe place for someone to rent. I highly recommend Fernando for all electrical jobs including home remodeling.
