I had a small flood in my kitchen that leaked down into my garage door opener mechanical box in the garage and was causing alarming sounds, even after unplugging and disabling. I called 911 because I was concerned about electrical fire.
Called Eddie and got him right away. We made a next day appointment, and he advised that he would come out and put a fan on the box to dry out, and assess the situation. I was able to do that myself, and by the next day the mechanical box had dried out, and was safely functional. I did not need Eddie to come out after all.
I really appreciated his promptness on the phone, and his practical advice.

Several nights ago, as I was just sitting down for dinner, one of my tenants called, frantically reporting that all the power was off in his San Francisco flat. I first called my real estate partner, who went to the building and determined that all the circuit breakers were in the correct position. So we decided there must have been a failure in the main circuit breaker.
After a quick internet search, I found A24 Electric, and Eddie immediately answered. His first question was, ""Is the power out in the entire apartment?"" When I said yes, he told me that one out of every three calls he gets for power completely out is because the tenant has failed to pay the bill and PG&E turned the power off.
I have responsible tenants, so couldn't imagine that they had not paid the bill. So Eddie said if that was the case, I should text him the address and he would be there in a few minutes. But of course he would have to charge me if the power was simply turned off for non-payment of the bill.
As I was about to text the information, I had second thoughts and called the tenant again. Sure enough, the roommate who was responsible for paying the bill had been in Europe, and just blew off the bill for how long (?) until the power was finally turned off.
The episode ended with a call by the tenant to PG&E, with credit card in hand, and the power was immediately turned back on. Even better, Eddie's quick thinking saved me the cost of a night time service call.
I have a regular electrician I use, but will certainly look to A24 Electric in future.

Thankfully the issue we had was simple enough for him to diagnose and give clear instructions to fix. He was also forthcoming about the cost of the alternative (an emergency in home visit which will have cost quite a lot).

I needed to get an electrician to install 220V plugs for Level 2 EV chargers. I called A 24 Electric and got Eddie on the phone right away. He listened to the description of my job and asked me to take some photos of the area to get a better idea of the particulars. Once he received the photos he texted me right back and said he needed to come out to check things out to see how the job might go. (Turns out I sent images of the wrong breaker boxes so he had some more questions.)

He came out the next morning and spent a few minutes checking things out with me and gave me an on the spot estimate for the job. The next morning he came out and did the install. He did a great job and creatively worked around some structural obstacles to make the install as unobtrusive as possible. It looks great.

The whole job was done in a few hours. It is clear that Eddie is fast because he is experienced and knowledgeable. His communication is impeccable, he follows through on what he promises and I couldn't be happier with his work. And I can't believe the job was done a day after my initial phone inquiry. Plus he is a super nice guy.

To me, this kind of professionalism, reliability, speed, creative problem solving, competence and follow through are worth paying a premium rate. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat and can't recommend him highly enough.

The pluses. Eddie came out on a weeknight with almost no notice. He was very helpful, and did a great job. He fixed an electrical malfunction that could have been serious. He was such a nice guy and I greatly appreciate his promptness and his skill.

The minuses. Expensive is an understatement. Just to make a ""house call"" in the evening was over $600! On top of that, there was a ""travel charge."" Ironically, the cost of doing the work was less than the house call and travel costs. I was over the proverbial eight ball and had no choice but to have an electrician come out - but wow, the cost of having him come out on a ""rush"" was shocking.

The conclusion. Eddie is great if you need good service, at any hour, and are prepared to pay a huge amount for the service.

Of course your house electrical and plumbing always occurs on week-ends. We had a circuit breaker failure at our home and after troubleshooting myself I decided to call for help. This is is when I called Eddie owner of the A Electric Co. I explained to Eddie the problem and everything I did over the phone. He asked me to take some pictures of our electrical panels and text those to him. Eddie figured out the issue and promptly called me back to walk me through for resolving SAFELY the issue remotely. Of course, Eddie has noticed that one of the circuit breaker was not pushed completely to the on position. So he made me turn it off and on. And Problem resolved at no charge and remotely! I am providing that much details because I want to emphasize Eddie's professionalism, promptness to help effectively his customers while thinking at the cost (avoiding to come to our home for resolving a very simple problem).
I highly recommend to use Eddie's electrical services.

I can't say enough nice things about this company. It is Saturday at 5:30 and the circuit breaker for the refrigerator and several outlets disengaged and would not reengage. We have just moved to SF and did not have a clue what to do or where to go....I should also mention that we're not spring chickens so hauling stuff out of the refrigerator and finding a place for it was a little daunting. I called this nice man whom I found on yelp and he asked us to send a picture of the breaker. He walked us through the process of a spring loaded breaker with the patience of Job and, voila, it worked!! He even asked for no remuneration which we flatly refused.
