My bathroom outlets constantly tripped a fuse when I was using one blowdryer and my builder's electrician couldn't even fix it or give me proper advice.

I contacted Agustine & he quickly troubleshooted the issue with me, offered a solution & scheduled a date two days later.

Work was done. Fast & easy.

What I love about Agustine is fast txting replies & reliability.

I highly recommend their team.

Just want to say 4 Brothers electric did help us with a few electrical issues. Ceiling fan install, garage lighting , and attic fan service. Very professional and courteous , as well as puntctual. Augustine and his apprentice help went right at our needs and got them done in a surprisingly quick time frame . Highly recommend them !

Be aware of their service. They may not fix your job. I have them come to my rental place to fix the recess lights in the kitchen. The electrician said there was nothing wrong and the wattage of the lights that my tenants used was incorrect. He left with lights. After he left, one hour later, the lights went out again. Also, the light he recommended is of old model and available in limited quantities. My tenants still bought the light he recommended. But the problem still exists. Basically he came for a few minutes, charged me $160 and did nothing and gave us confusing information. Then when I texted him, he said it is due to old light fixture. And then will charge me again to fix the light fixture. But I am confused on why he won't give my tenant correct information the first time. I won't use their service again.

Here are some unbiased info that I hope will help the next customer deciding to go with 4 Brothers:

Pros:
- Very responsive when trying to win your business
- Showed up as promised and on time
- Able to get the job done quickly (replaced my restroom fixture and 4 outlets burnt wire under 30 minutes)
- Promised 2 years warranty on everything that they do (see picture)

Cons:
- Did not really let me decide or show me the fixture that they were going to install
- Left plastic wrapping still on fixture bulb
- Become unresponsive the minute you paid via Venmo
- till date, no warranty info delivered as promised

What you should do:
- Double/triple check the work before paying
- Ask all the questions and documents detailing the warranty before paying
- Ask for receipts and pay via Credit Card which can give you some protection
- Only give small projects to see how they handle things.

Pricing:
- $160 per fixture
- $80 per outlet
- $360 for dedicated circuit

They literally over here scamming clients out of money!! They literally pull the whole ""pay now and we'll complete the work"" then they take the money and run without doing the work, it's the same old bait and switch. It's our bad for paying up front, we shouldn't have paid until the work is done! Now they dodging phone calls, then when they do answer, they be like ""oh we'll come do the work on Saturday"" then they don't show up and stop answering the phone again. It's crazy that there are still shady contractors like this! Consumer beware that they'll take your money and run!! SMDH

I hired 4 brothers for an electrical panel upgrade. They left the job unfinished, and I had to reschedule the city inspection several times. The job they did has not passed inspection and continues to give other problems. Phone response from them have been poor and I regret hiring them. Stay away folks

I called them to come on site to get a quote for installing a yard light. The person charged 100$ for the first visit and scheduled for the next visit for installation. I bought the light as they recommended. Then he didn't show up on the day. He texted and set up another time and did not show up AGAIN and has never replied texts since then. Just found out some other customers had similar experience around the same time.

[!] Be aware - these guys are not licenced electricians! Yet, they lie about this and commit to work that requires permits / licences. If you don't believe me - try to find this business on cslb.ca.gov.

In my case they did the main panel upgrade. Their invoice specifically said ""All inspections, city permits, and disconnect will all be provided and handled by 4 Brothers electric at the customer's request."". In reality they staged the whole process - brought in a fake inspector and gave me a fake inspection notice. The San Jose Permit Office confirmed that no permits were issued for my address and no inspectors were assigned.

Once I confronted these guys, they went into a complete silence mode - no answer either on Yelp or phone.

Now I'm working on getting a proper permit and it turns out that they did a horrible job, that doesn't follow the code: wrong type of the panel, missing insulation, broken clamps, etc. All needs to be re-done. Don't fall for their 'reasonable' prices, you will end up paying much more in the end. I'm looking for away to get at least some of my payment back though the authorities.

I reached out to 4 Brothers Electric via Yelp to do some rewiring on a portly wired existing outlet in the garage. They responded within 1 day and subsequent responses regarding quotes and pricing were fast as well. Their price was competitive with other quotes I received.

Augustine came over to my house and got straight to work. He took a look at the issue with existing wiring and discussed options, providing a suggestion. He quickly installed the conduit, wiring, and outlets. 10 out of 10 would recommend. I'll definitely reach out to them for any future needs.

They were very responsive in getting a quote and setting up a time to come out. Augustine stated he would arrive on Wednesday between 9:30 and 10:00. Just after 10:00, he wrote that he was stuck waiting for an inspector and couldn't come out and couldn't find anyone else who could come that day. Fair enough. So we agreed that he would come out the next day (Thursday), and I requested 8 AM. He wasn't there at 8 AM -- nor did he respond my text asking about when he would be available. I called the main line and got a hold of one of the other brothers at 9 AM. He agreed to come out the next day (Friday) at 8 AM. At 8:20 on Friday, I texted to see when he was arriving. No response. I called at 9 AM. He answered, and said he would be here ""in five minutes"". He never arrived, nor did anyone else. Nor did I receive any other response.

This has just been a colossal waste of my time. In particular, I have never had someone say they would arrive in five minutes and then not show up or even apologize. If I can't trust you when you say you'll be here in five minutes, I'm not trusting you to work on the wiring on my home! Maybe 4 brothers needs a fifth brother (or sister?) to have enough people to cover the promises they make? A shame, especially given how responsive they were at first.
