Hired 3Js Electric to install an ev charger in my house roughly 90' from the main panel with permit and SMUD rebate. I was excited they didn't have to cut the wall in my bedroom to get down to the electrical panel that's flush mounted in the wall, They were able to snake it down inside the wall. I also had them do 17 recessed lights though out my home. I can't recommend them enough and will be using them in the future to paint the exterior of my home when I'm ready.

Ugh. Electrical panels, amirite??? When I received my home inspection back they may not have explicitly spelled out death by electrical fire ... But there was an awful lot of upgrade recommendations on critical equipment. The fact that another local company quoted me 6k to bring me out of the dangerous dark ages and into the shining safety of the new millennium had me waiting until next year to do the electrical work on my home but when I met J through his work with local non profits he was happy to usher me along and include new outlets and switches along with that electrical panel for far less than I was quoted by the other guy.

I got my signed off SMUD certificate this afternoon and I'm already planning to upgrade the lighting in my kitchen and bathrooms. Super happy!!

We recently purchased our first EV and began our search for electricians to install an EV charger and the appropriate wiring to the circuit breaker. We went through SMUD's list of recommended electricians as we were trying to take advantage of both the charger rebate and the installation rebate they have available. After getting four quotes from different contractors, we settled on 3Js Electric. From the beginning, they were very fast to respond to our inquiries and additional concerns regarding the install. They arrived at our house next day and provided an estimate which was competitive with the three others we received. We decided to go with 3Js because they were communicative, up front, and attentive to our needs. They arranged for the permit, performed the work, AND submitted all of the paperwork to SMUD for the rebate. Throughout the process they kept me informed (via text) of how things were progressing and what stage they were in with the rebate process. I don't write reviews for the simple fact that I don't have time. 3Js and their quality of service made me WANT to take time out of my day and write a review for them. Thank you again!

Referred to 3Js from SMUD to install a Tesla Wall Charger and I'm glad I was! Corresponded with Jeremy throughout the process from estimates to planning and installation. He made things straightforward and there were no surprises. They handled the permit and SMUD rebate submission for me as well. With many electricians aware of the rebate, I received some inflated estimates, but 3J's price was the most competitive of the 5 I received. I'll definitely start with them for my electrical needs in the future.

I recently had my AC unit repaired, but it was still not working due to the unit not receiving enough voltage. The company recommended I call an electrician and they recommended 3Js. I spoke with Jay, and he was incredibly communicative and quick to respond. I explained the issue to him via text, and he was able to put me on the schedule the following morning. They were efficient and solved the problem in less than an hour, and also fixed another problem I had with a wall socket in my garage with time to spare!

The best part is that while I was enjoying my AC again, my house was still not 100% as I was not getting electricity in my home office. I called them up and they came back a few hours later and fixed THAT problem too. Definitely my go to guys for all my electrical needs, hopefully not too soon! Thank you 3Js, you guys are awesome!
