Glen was great! I called him this morning and he was here this afternoon. Worked diligently to figure out the issue I was having with a GFCI plug. Ended up not being the plug, but a fountain. I highly recommend 2nd mile services.

Ok, when you call someone like an Electrician, you're looking for someone you can trust. This is hard to do if you haven't called anyone before, and I know, because I've never called an Electrician before either.

Anyway, Glen was an exception. The way I could tell was because when I called Glen (on a recent Sunday afternoon) for an emergency need, his first question was:

""Tell me what your problem is right now""

Not: ""Today is a Sunday so there are afterhours fees."" or
Not: ""There's a trip fee before I can head out there""

If someone cares more about the fees than actually what the problems are, do it like me... hang up. And call someone else.

For me, I happen to find Glen. He got to me in less than 45 minutes and was able to diagnose the problem in another 45 minutes. He did some tests, explained what the tests do, and diagnosed it ""WITH"" me.

He asked me if the solutions were ok, and boom, fixed. Cannot get any better. Folks, he's a great gem. You're welcome.

Can't say enough good about this company. Our home was hit by lightning on Saturday. I called to get an appt for them to come out and get us fixed up. It was 4pm on a Saturday. When I told them our AC was out, they immediately responded.....""we'll come out now."" If you are looking for an electrician that does a good job....and has a heart, you can't go wrong!!!

Glen with 2nd Mile Service has a wealth of knowledge and is patient and professional. He trouble-shot all five of my wired smoke alarms that like to go off for no good reason in the middle of the night. And he advised me about next steps should they continue to give us trouble. My brand new smoke detectors were chirping and replacing the batteries didn't help. I called 2nd Mile and Glen answered right away. He told me what the service charge would be and came out the next day. He asked me some questions about the house and then checked out the alarms, finding one of them to be faulty. I replaced it and was good to go. Glen asked me to let him know if it started happening again. So a week later I heard chirping and texted Glen. He replied right away. This time it was just the battery on my Carbon Dioxide detector which was a relief. Glen was courteous and professional. I'd use him again without question. Happy customer.
