My brand new smoke detectors were chirping and replacing the batteries didn't help. I called 2nd Mile and Glen answered right away. He told me what the service charge would be and came out the next day. He asked me some questions about the house and then checked out the alarms, finding one of them to be faulty. I replaced it and was good to go. Glen asked me to let him know if it started happening again. So a week later I heard chirping and texted Glen. He replied right away. This time it was just the battery on my Carbon Dioxide detector which was a relief. Glen was courteous and professional. I'd use him again without question. Happy customer.

The main power switch for our furnace failed. I called Glen, and he accommodated us promptly, efficiently, and for a reasonable rate. He explained the probable cause in a friendly and professional manner, and made the repair for us in a way that left me confident and satisfied in his work. He also rearranged his schedule to get our furnace up and running, which showed, to me, he had sympathy for our plight. Glenn was awesome. My elderly parents thought they may have driven a screw into a wire in the wall when the circuit was shorting out. Everyone needs a good electrician and Glen is your guy! We had a ""mysterious"" breaker in our Master bedroom that kept flipping. Electrical issues are so very scary and we had to just shut the breaker down. Luckily I checked Yelp and found Glen with all his Five Star Reviews. A call and Glen was here the next day - on time,which is always a plus. He worked tirelessly to toubleshoot the problem. Glen was very knowledgable and was never bothered that my husband was asking lots of questions and looking over his shoulder the entire time. My smoke detectors were going crazy with beeps and tropical storm Harvey was on the way. I knew we would probably not sleep for a few days if it were not fixed right away. So I called and even though it was after hours Glen dropped what he was doing and came straight over.

He fixed the problem and did such a great job he is scheduled to come back and do a lot more work I had been putting off because I did not know a good electrician. Well, now I do!
