First off, I hate to write negative reviews..and I believe in allowing opportunity for correction. However, after almost a year (of back and forth) I've reached my limit.

We paid for a 200 Amp panel upgrade and installation of 3 additional outlets in our home (last Spring 2024). We paid for permits and all additional fees etc. After the work was completed we had major issues with our electrical system and overall quality of the work (holes not being filled and cleaned up). Some of the issues we experienced were as follows: outlets/appliances not working, flickering lights, panel left open to the elements and uncovered, SPA building completely not working and left disconnected from the new panel, multiple breakers tripping and switching off (this continues to happen today). We reached out to 27 West and they sent out the same technician many many times to address the issues. However, while one/two issues would be resolved others would arise. Months later we continue to experience issues with our system and lights etc. We also noticed (after doing some additional research) that a surge protector should have been installed with the upgrade and we requested that it be addressed; however, the technician arrived saying he was never instructed to install a surge protector. Additionally, the technician asked if the qork was completed according to the ""contract""; however, I made it clear that regardless of the contract it should still meet ""Electrical code"" etc. He then states it does (see pictures for yourself), this is today 1/18/25 now..almost a full year and we still are dealing with issues and no proof of passed inspections.

We also asked whether or not the technicians are licensed and the owner says all work is protected under his insurance policy (never directly answering my question). At this point, we don't believe any of the work is up to code and we are fearful of safety concerns for our home and our family. We are requesting a full refund, to ensure our home/children are safe and we can get the project completed correctly.

Jerald came out promptly and did a great job explain the situation we had with an older panel. Even though our claim was denied by home warranty, he gave some options and didn't try to up sale me. Recommend him!

I've worked with Jerald twice now, and he is an excellent electrician. He doesn't shy away from hard work. This last project I hired him for was an expansion of my circuit and installing an EV Charging system in my garage. I had a couple other view this project and were intimidated by the tight corners and having to wire down a story. This didn't phase Jerald at all, he immediately got to work and right away figured out the most efficient path to lay the line. The project took only one day.

Jerald was very responsive to requests from my HOA who needed a scope of work. He produced it in 30 minutes. Getting it to me so fast help get the ball rolling.

Jerald will be my first go to for electrical needs.

I was sure that he wouldn't be able to solve the problem and that it wasn't really electrical. It turned out that the guys who installed my lights mixed up the wiring that went to the fan, in addition to mixing up the wires in the breaker box. He was professional, polite and kept everything clean. I was so relieved because he was the second workman I had out over the same problem. Thank you 27 West Electric!

I had a simple wiring issue and he came but couldn't resolve my issue and just broke my switch and left me with a great danger of electric shock. He was a nice guy but I expect more professionally work from an electrician.
