Our outlet shorted out underneath the kitchen sink. Waited 4 days for my home warranty to send out an electrician. He spent 5 min at our house, explained nothing and left without fixing anything. 3 days later our claim was denied due to ""secondary damage."" Thankfully I found Franklin with 1st Touch Electric. Within an hour he sent an electrician over to our house. The electrician was extremely polite and fixed the outlet as well as two other outlets that were connected to the same wiring. I will certainly be recommending them to friends/family and will hold onto their business card for any future needs.

Communication is horrible with this company.

Requested a quote and the guy came out Friday to take a look at everything. He was about 30 minutes late but he did call me to let me know which I had no problem with since he did call. When he arrived he seemed like he was well rounded since he was able to answer my many questions and did spend some time here.

After all is said and done he left and provided me quote on the following Monday. Once I had reviewed the quote I had some additional questions. This is where the customer service changed. Monday night I had texted the employee that I had some questions about the estimate and the work stated being done. Really did not expect a text until the next day but he responded saying that he would call me in the morning and to provide the estimate number. Which I understood since no one works 24/7. So I provide the estimate number and he acknowledged that he received the estimate number. Then I texted back ""what time would you call?"" the reason I asked is because I wanted to ensure that I was not at work. Well he never responded to that text. So the next day I just took off of work since I wanted to ensure to talk to him some more to get an understanding of my estimate before proceeding. Never got a single phone call or text message. Now I get it people are busy and everything so I was fine with that. The next day (Tuesday) I had called him to see if he had time to discuss but no luck.

After reviewing the quote to do a panel upgrade 100 amp to a 200 amp they wanted to charge $2,544.50 with permits and stucco work. Which is good but seems like a little high considering the parts pricing. Also to add the additional 100 amp sub panel in the garage for roughly $1,100 is a bit high since a simple panel like this only cost $50 at home depot. It seems like they are doing more work on the exterior than the interior of the garage. None the less I just wished that the communication was better.

Yes I know my estimate is no longer valid but I still wanted to let others knows of my experience with this company.

Some of the questions I wanted to discuss further is:
- Does the service entrance pole need to be replaced?
- Why can't the ground rods be installed in the front of the house?
- Would you be able to provide a quote for rewiring the entire house?

Francisco was so great! My husband updated our old yellow light switches to nice white modern ones. YouTube videos were really helpful!!

Until my husband got to the ceiling fan + light switch, we downloaded online manuals & watched endless YouTube videos. No luck :( has no lights for about a week before we reached out to electricians.

- They had great customer service over the phone.
- I got lucky & the electrician Francisco came within 3 hours & on time, as estimated!
- Francisco was mindful of the new wood floors we had, placed his tools on a cloth to not damage our floor.
- Francisco was very careful when bringing the big ladder to the second floor not to damage the walls
- He swept the dusty mess after!! Amazing!!!

My name is Tiffany and I I reached out to first touch electric regarding an electrical problem I was having with my dryer not heating up the electrician that I had do the work stopped answering my messages suffer such electric sent out Franklin amazing amazing amazing person he looked over everything he explained to me what needed to be done and he got a quote over in impeccable timing. They did not rush me they did not Hound me to get the job done they waited until I was able to get the job done. This company sucks I don't recommend no one to get it my man worked for them for almost 3 months and they fired him for no reason this is what they do get people and fire them they got working hector and Francisco only get paid cash they have some other guy which they replace my man that don't know anything about Eletricity Luis ! Quick and Fast Review: Franklin and his team, are as excellent and professional as they get. They are honest and are not satisfied until you are. Communication is quick and always thorough.

Long Review: First I should mention, that I have a general knowledge of the electric process for homes. I can pretty much wire up a house on my own. However, I bought a house built in the 1950s. It had the same electrical panel that came with the house originally and I wanted to install AC and run power to my detached garage. This was a little more work than I wanted to take on and I didn't want to deal with the permit process. I started looking around for electricians and I heard about Franklin through a recommendation.

He came in and I told him what I wanted to do. He walked me through how he would do it, what he would change and what can be left in place. Not once in the process did he try to up-sell me on anything. I spoke with a few other electricians and they weren't nearly as thorough, or they were trying to get me to pay for more work even though it didn't need to be done. I ended up going with Franklin.

Best decision I've made in a long time. This house has turned into a project and not once did Franklin give me any grief. His team has been excellent and when they weren't excellent and maybe there was a communication lapse, he was quick to acknowledge and resolve it. I don't expect contractors to be perfect, just willing to fix what ever may have gone wrong. Having said that, any issues I had were minor in my eyes, but Franklin treated them like they were extremely important. That same urgency was shared by his team as well. Every time I brought anything up they were on it quick.

Another thing that some contractors don't like is an indecisive customer. And even though I tried my best to not be one of those types I ended up being one. Not only was Franklin patient with me, but he guided me in the direction to help me make the best decision for me and my wallet. Again he never tried to up-sell me on anything.

We are coming up to the end of the project now and I will not hesitate to call him again and get work done. In the end he and his team setup a new 200 amp panel (this included moving the panel and patching up the old area where the old panel was located), ran a line and setup a subpanel in the garage. Wired up the garage for 110 and 220 lines for woodworking equipment, he ran a line for welder, he put up 3 floodlights, he handled the permitting process, and he added 4 or 5 outlets in the house for me. And through it all, everytime they left, for some miraculous reason the area where they worked was cleaner than before. It blew my mind.

Franklin and his team were spectacular. They were all extremely knowledgeable and from the moment I met him I knew I could trust him. They did most of the work while I was out of the house at work. I was even getting calls before they used the restroom to make sure it was ok.

If you need electrical work done, and you have offers from other electricians and Franklin's price is competitive, you'd be crazy to go with anyone else. Even if his price is more, it would be hard to pass on him. Not all contractors are the same, Franklin and the 1st Touch team are at the top of class.
