I recommend anyone needing something done on their house and an electrician to contact 1st Choice Electric. I had old kitchen lighting and wanted to replace the old lights. I contacted multiple companies and Jim of 1st choice Electric responded quickly. He answered all my questions and provided me a quote. He then worked with me on a good day and time that worked for me to scheduled the job. On the scheduled day of the job he completed the job in a few hours and the new lights look amazing. He even did the ceiling texture to cover the sheet rock. He cares about his customers and his work speaks for itself. I could not be happier and will be contacting Jim back when need anything else done to my house.

I needed a main breaker panel replaced on rental house. Box was loose on wall, tenants lost inside cover plate and wires were exposed inside, just waiting for an accident. I call 1st Choice Electric, Jim answered said he was on a job and text him the address and he would take a look when he finishes that day. Looked over the job and gave an estimate on the spot, this was Friday evening and he could do it on Sunday, his quote was in line with the other I got but the other electrician couldn't do it till 10 days.

Completely satisfied with the job, it's all up to code now and safe. Will differently use again.

Definitely recommend 1st choice Electric. Jim was very knowledgeable, responsive and professional. I called about a circuit breaker trip and he gave me advice on how to not overload the breaker. He was concern about safety and I appreciate it. Definitely will hire him for any electrical work.

A little late in posting this review. We would highly recommended 1st Choice electric. From start to finish Jim was a pleasure to work with. Everything works as promised and was exactly what we asked for. Also while working they covered everything up, and cleaned up from everything when they left. We still have a few projects we need completed and will definitely be having them back to finish them when we are ready to have them done.

Was referred to Jim by another electrician and he was great. Showed up early on a Saturday which we were grateful for. Got right to work and completed a ceiling fan install and additional hallway light in a timely manner. He had us laughing with his dad jokes. Man, Jim save me. Called around 4:00pm and he came by after his last job. I tried everything I read to do for a tripped GFCI. Jim came by and it 5 minutes it was back up with power. He ran through what the issues could be, and finally discovered what I hadn't though of. Before leaving he ran through my two breaker boxes and what be aware of and what issues might come up with them. Can't believe how painless this was. Can't recommend enough!

I never go into any business agreement or contract on a whim. I wont hire just anyone to do even the most rudimentary work without vetting the business or person. I work to hard for my money and the safety and sanctity of my home are never compromised and I have been this way even before this pandemic.
