Horrible Customer Service and Communication! This rating is based solely on customer service and communication. I never got the chance to actually use the his service. My quick story starts like this: I need some repairs done to my home. I looked on Yelp (as I always do) for someone with a 5 star rating. I found this company. I sent a message asking for a an estimate. I received a message back stating the estimate is free and they would be down to do a walk through the next day. Well, they never showed up. I sent messages and nothing. Then a few hours later I get a message saying he was tied up and could not call or message me. So ask ask when he could come do the estimate. He then tells me it's $75 bucks. It's not the fact that I'm being charged, I feel it's fair to pay something for an estimate. However it's not good to cut communication and not showing up. I had requested that day off just to get the estimate done and hopes of him doing the work that day. It was a waste of time and money. This company has 5 Stars, they may be great at what they do. But as for customer service, communication and ethics - they are lousy. They also don't stand behind their word.

Whether it be with price or with electricity, no one wants to get shocked!!! (You see what I did there?) 1st Choice did a great job handling both the financial and operation side of the project. The price was very reasonable and the work was done in a timely fashion. I'm hoping to gather my dollars together and finally take care of some other electrical projects that I've been holding off on, and can confidently know that I have a company that I can rely on to get the job done right. My AC breaker kept tripping and then eventually we weren't able to turn it on. I called and the next day Jerret came out and fixed our WC. Wires were touching the metal panel and caused it to over heat! Out AC was working. He waited for the wires to cool and the AC to come on before he left. Highly recommend him and his partner. They rock!

Called for a quote and Jarret was here within an hour. Both Jarret and Ryan were knowledgeable, friendly and cleaned up after the job was complete. Reasonable price. Would hire again. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend First Choice Electric! Our power went out and we found this company on Yelp, and within minutes they were at our house. They ran my tv cables in wall. Changed some can lighting to LEDs. Also added electrical for new lighting fixtures. Did a great job. Professional. Would use again and recommend.

We called 1st choice electric.to come out and wire our ceiling fans to our wall switches and install a cam light in a closet. i must say Ryan and Jarrett were very fast and professional. good work and fair pricing. they kept us apprised of the situation at all times.xlnt communication and follow up.we would definitely use them again.

these guys were great! I didn't have a big job to do but they came all the way to lake forest at be here at 7:00 a.m. so that I didn't have to miss work. They know what they are doing and will for sure use them in the future.

He was honest, reliable and was able to do the job quickly. I will use him for all of my electrical needs. 1st choice electrical is also licensed & bonded which was really important to me.

I Had a project that I had planned for months. I bought all the necessary parts needed and just waiting on an electrician. I finally called Ryan Reese at 1st Choice Electric to install 2 new can lighting. He sounded really nice and friendly in the phone. Set up an appointment for him to review my project. He showed up on time. Gave me an estimate and set up the install appointment.

He emailed me the day before the appointment to confirm. Showed and did the work scheduled. He even applied sparkling on a spot showing on my ceiling. Explained everything he did to me. What I need to do to replace the LED bulbs. And only charged me what he quoted. I would use him again in my next project. I highly recommend him. By the way, he is licensed, bonded and insured.
