My husband and I bought a home in SSF that had old knob and tube electrical throughout the house. We knew we wanted to update the electrical before we moved in. We called a few companies and ultimately went with Bart and his team. Bart was very responsive via email and phone with all our questions. We made a few changes with our plans and Bart was able to accommodate all those changes. In the end, we were extremely happy with the work that was done. The work was completed in a timely matter, efficiently, and up to code. The only negative was some of the outlets were cut too big so we had to patch a few of them up. Otherwise everything was great! And we will definitely be contacting Bart and his team for our future electrical needs.

I had a great experience with Bart. He was honest, quick, and easy to communicate with via text/phone. I will definitely use him for any future electrical needs.

I originally wanted him to give me a quote about electrifying a room. While he was over, he also pointed out a fire hazard AKA. the way my main panel connects to the city line. I had two other electricians look at the room, and one of them also mentioned the same fire hazard. Looking back at a property inspection of the house, it turns out the inspector also mentioned the same thing. We decided to go with Bart.

He was originally supposed to start work on Tues for a 2 day job, but he texted on Mon letting me know his previous job did not finish on time. He was upfront with me so I didn't have a problem with a one day delay. He promptly showed up on Wed and quickly got everything done (including the city inspection) that he promised he would for day 1. On day 2, he finished the rest of work we had agreed on. My wife sent me pictures of what was done. Some of the outlets and plugs were not where I wanted them, so I called Bart. He quickly moved everything to where I wanted despite the fact that it required extra work on his part and that it was my fault that he had placed them at the wrong location.

I would highly recommend Bart for any sort of electrical work for your house.

Bart and his crew are top notch. Excellent attention to detail and will go the extra mile to make sure a job is done right.

They performed a panel replacement / upgrade on an existing Federal Pacific unit. Removed aluminum wiring I didn't know about, and used high quality components all around (copper only). Even the city inspector remarked at the quality of the components installed, from the tie-in all the way down to the panel and grounding. Bart took time to educate me on good practices and why they do things a certain way. He also helped make sure I would meet the requirements needed to pass city inspection on the first go, including smoke / CO alarms in the house.

His quote / estimate was fair and they went above and beyond to address sub-par electrical work from the previous owner to ensure my household's safety. Their quality of work gives me the confidence to move forward with other home projects and renovations. I will be working with them again when it is time to do a full re-wire of the knob/tube wiring left in the house.

I would not hesitate to recommend Bart and his team to others, as they were thorough, timely, and professional. I'm pleased that Bart is a fellow resident of SSF and look forward to seeing their company vehicles around town!

Bart came out the next day after I couldn't get my circuit breaker to turn back on. It was a simple fix but I appreciated his advice and response time.

I had a wonderful experience with Bart and his team, and would highly recommend them for any electrical job you can throw at them!

I had my service panel fail and require replacement. It was buzzing, there was a burning smell from the panel, and power was intermittent then stopped in half my house. Bart quickly returned my call asking for assistance, setup a time to review the situation that worked for me (not his convenience), and promptly provided a written estimate. The scope of work included relocating the service panel from the rear to the side of the house, moving the PG&E service wire on my roof, and extending all existing circuits from the old panel to the new panel. There were a few miscellaneous ""nice to have"" additions I made to the mandatory work, such as adding new front and rear exterior outlets, and adding new interior circuits for all my heavy appliances (washer, dryer, fridge, etc.) to take the load off my aging electrical system since I didn't have the budget to rewire throughout the entire house at this time.

Bart's quote wasn't the lowest, but it wasn't the highest either. I found it to be fair and reflective of the difficult work he would need to perform. He graciously acknowledged whatever element of the job I wanted, however unpleasant it would be for him to accomplish, unlike some contractors. Have you ever had the ""why would you want to do that?"" from a contractor, which you know means they don't want to hassle with it and would rather do the parts of the job that are easy money? Not even close with Bart, despite the quality time he and his crew would be spending in my crawl space doing everything I asked of them.

I would say the clincher for me when selecting Bart for my job was the emphasis he placed on quality and customer service. His crew cleaned up after themselves to the point I couldn't tell they were here. Not even a speck of drywall dust on my hardwood floor below where they added a new outlet in my bedroom. Bart emphasized the details he would address with each step of the job, identified places where other contractors might cut corners, then explained the right way to do it and why it was important. I can't say enough about the relief I felt as a customer when I received the explanation of what I was paying for, why I was paying for it, and why it was important. I still can't tell you the difference between an AFCI circuit and a GFCI circuit, but I know Bart tried explaining it to me and why it made sense for some situations and not for others.

Top notch quality of work and personable with an old-school sense of humor that I found refreshing. I made the right choice selecting Bart's company 110/220v Electrical, and so will you! Highly recommended!

Bob's Handyman Service, who I have been doing business with for over 14 years, referred me to you. I called and you were supposed to set up an appointment with my tenant. I texted his number to you and vice versa. He tried calling, and did not get through. I asked him if you called that day you were supposed to go out and give me a bid on a compete re-wire of his house, he said no. I then called your number and it was disconnected. I tried again, and it was the same.

I have up dated my review to give you the benefit of the doubt as to why this number might have been disconnected, maybe you were out of reach ? But, I still waited, as he did, for you to call back.

I am glad that you responded to this review, I guess Yelp does work, but it should not take a review to value potential clients. My time, and my tenants time are limited. He has to pull over to respond to my texts, and phone calls during his busy day, as well as make time to meet with you and other contractors. I have to fly out of state to be there. I am meeting a team of contractors to rennovate his house. I have a time line that I am trying to meet, and by not calling me back interfers with my plans by causing unnecessary delays.

My husband and I bought a house in Pacifica that needed new or updated electrical in almost every room in the house. We found Bart and his team on Yelp and with such amazing reviews, decided to get an estimate from him for the work. He was incredibly professional and provided a very reasonable estimate for all work with a very quick turnaround time. He and his team did a variety of electrical work including working on our main electrical panel outside, installing recessed LED lighting throughout the house, replacing old recessed lighting, installing ceiling lights in multiple bedrooms that had no ceiling lights before, and wiring/installing a dinning room chandelier. They also replaced almost every light switch in the house. He and his team finished early, so early in fact we actually added additional work to his proposal that he was still able to complete within his original timeline. His team was incredibly efficient, extremely professional, very knowledgeable, and the quality of work is beautiful. Our new house finally feels like a home and we are thrilled with the results. We highly recommend Bart and his team for any electrical work you need done.

I saw his truck at my next door neighbor's house one day. I asked her if she liked his work and she highly recommended him period so when it came time to put some outside lights on my house, I gave him a call for an estimate. He came in just slightly over his competitor but his competitor wanted to run conduit on the outside of my house where Bart said he can wire it from the inside and do a much cleaner job. So I hired Bart. I couldn't have made a better choice! He and his crew work together magnificently! Trying to get wires from our inside switches to the Attic was quite a challenge since the previous owner really made a mess of things when they did an addition onto the house. Bart resisted having to put a hole in my wall and through sheer persistence was able to bypass whatever he bypassed and finished the job without having to cut a hole in my wall! Thank you Bart! I'm sure he was here it much longer then he anticipated but when he was finished, you could never tell that he was even here! I really think he left the place cleaner than when he found it.
Suffice it to say that if you want to hire an electrician who is very professional, very detail-oriented, extremely hard-working and very ethical, hire Bart and his crew! I cannot thank him enough.

I needed an electrician to put in a new outlet for the garage. I came upon Bart's blog on his website on the dangers of having a FPE panel and I immediately went to check my panel just to see what type I have and it was a FPE panel. What a surprise! Since I was clueless, I googled further the problems of having a FPE panel and for the next hour read about stab-lok breakers and read fire story after fire story. These fires can get nasty and can take out half your house in a short time and even result in death. I have my kids and grandkids come stay and visit often. I would never forgive myself if something happened to them and I knew that I had something in the house that was unsafe and did nothing about it. My current panel was not giving me any problems, but these stab-lok breakers have a high rate of failure. I told my husband, we are changing the panel. No argument from him.

I called Bart and he came by and gave me an estimate on the same day. As soon as I had a free day, Bart and his team (Chris and Sharon) were here to remove my FPE panel. Bart made a difficult job look easy. They were knowledgeable and very skillful. From the beginning to the end, the work was fantastic. What an awesome team! They were neat and tidy and cleaned after themselves. They even put on shoe covers before entering the house. Bart noticed a few other problems in the house and fixed without charge. Who does that these days? They did a great job on my new garage outlet and the conduit looks beautiful. A stellar performance by 110/220v.

Professional, reliable, and honest - Bart and his team made a very good impression. I will be definitely calling them in the future for other electrical needs.

If you are in need of knowledgable, experienced, reliable electricians, then look no farther than Bart & his team! I wanted to have a light fixture replaced and a couple of light switches looked at. Apparently there were some safety issues I knew nothing about! Bart & his team showed me pictures and explained to me what the problems were. They took care of everything that needed to be done in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. I am so thankful and relieved to have found Bart, Sharon & Christian. They are honest, down to earth professionals who truly care about their customers and the work and service they provide. I have other projects I would like done in the near future and I will definitely be calling Bart & his team back to help. I will be referring 110/220 Electric Co. to all my friends & family. I can't thank you enough Bart & team!!
