I called Ed based on a recommendation from a neighborhood app. I was a bit hesitant as I had tried contacting 4 other electricians who either didn't show or didn't return my call. Ed responded quickly and sent someone out to do the job. I had a problem with a GFI plug in the kitchen, we thought it was fixed on the first visit, but a couple days later it went out. Someone came out again and spent quite a while trying to figure out the problem. Turns out it was sloppy work from a contractor I had doing remodel work recently. I figured it would cost me a small fortune but Ed did not charge me for this 2nd visit. I was so relieved and grateful. I will definitely call Ed again for any electrical work.

Our house was built in 1952 and still had the original breaker panel. When several of the breaker switches came loose from the panel during an attempt to flip it, we knew it was time to get a new breaker panel. We contacted Ed from 1-Step Up Electric for an estimate and he was prompt and professional and offered us a very fair price.

1-Step Up Electric really is as good as it gets. We moved to Redlands CA in early 2016 and had several electrical projects on tap for the new house. Ed and his crew do a great job, they are dependable, and always great to work with. We had several challenging projects and they stepped up to the task and we can't be happier with the work they did. They have replaced electrical outlets, installed recessed lighting, installed ceiling fans, and installed under cabinet lighting in the kitchen. We love the new look of our home. Prices are reasonable, too. Those were home enhancements, and they have also helped us out troubleshooting electrical issues that needed to be fixed. 1-Step Up Electric is our go-to vendor for all things electric.

We called 1 step up to finish up some electrical that never got buttoned up from a remodel. The estimate was fair, and the timing was faster than I could have hoped. I called on a Friday and the job was scheduled and finished on Monday. We were so happy with Phongs work, we called back and had 1 step up install 2 more lights today. Tony did a great job. I would recommend these guys to anyone needing electrical work done, big or small.

We recently completed a complete re-wiring of our 95-year old home in South Redlands. From the first consultation until the final inspection, Ed and his crew kept us informed of every detail on each piece of work as it was completed. He secured the necessary permits to get the work started quickly, and hired out a fantastic dry wall specialist to complete the repairs. They answered all of our questions quickly and courteously, and the work was perfect. The crew showed up on time each day, and cleaned up thoroughly each day before leaving.

Another plus is that Ed accepted credit cards for payment, which meant we were able to finance the payments on our own terms. We'd highly recommend them for any job.

Ed and his team (Mike and Tony) impressed me the most with their professionalism and great customer service. Ed came out to give us a quote for a whole house re-wire. He walked with us through the whole house, garage, and outdoor areas, listened to all of our concerns, and fully answered all of our questions. He knew everything that would have to be up to code and even arranged the city permit for us. His price was reasonable for the work we were asking of him and his team. They gave us a start date, and when the day arrived, they were there on time (a little early even) and ready to work. The whole time they were working on our home (2 weeks), they were nothing but hardworking, courteous, friendly, and professional. Except for the work in progress areas, you couldn't even tell they were there after they left because they cleaned up thoroughly and put their tools away each afternoon before leaving. By the end of the 2 week project, we were actually a bit sad that the work was done because they were such pleasant people to be around. A big round of applause to the whole team that we had the pleasure of meeting: Ed, Mike, Tony, Bobby, Billy, Elias, and the other member whose name has escaped me (sorry!) I would recommend One Step Up Electric to anyone who need electric work done!!!
