Jeff's prior reviews were excellent. I called him 5 pm on Friday. His work day ends at 7 pm. He was able to get to my rental property within 20 minutes. He figured out the problem, and fixed it in less than one hour. He actually corrected multiple problems, that I did not see. One problem was intermittent, which I missed when I attempted repair myself, one week ago. Hate to admit that I am a Professional Engineer, and I failed in catching intermittent problem. (Shame on me for being a terrible electrician. More credit for Jeff.)
Jeff is a real pro. Very reasonable rate. Very personable. He will be my best electrical service provider in the Sacramento area. He actually shared with me what I missed. He deserved six stars. Thanks.

Jeff has come to my home on 2 occasions to diagnose and repair improper electrical work performed by previous electricians. He is punctual, courteous, thoroughly explains his findings and work, and is a perfectionist in the very best sense! He found and fixed problems that I did not know we had. He stresses performing all work to code to ensure the safety of the home. I would definitely recommend 1 Source Electric!

Great service. Jeff picked up after the second ring! Although, he was not able to replace our panel, he walked me through the situations of what I needed to get done as well as recommended two other companies to reach out to for that type of work. Jeff called me back fairly quickly, called again to confirm a general time, and then called a final time to let me know he was on his way. He was very conscientious about safety and keeping things clean. He was great with educating me and my SO about what was happening with our electricity. He fixed our issue and suggested reasonable fixes for the near future to make our system work better and more safely. I would recommend him and plan on hiring him again in the near future

Jeff at 1 Source Electric is fantastic! I had a relatively simple problem--my doorbell stopped ringing. I called around to a few electricians and left messages, and Jeff actually called back! Within hours! When I couldn't answer, he left me a detailed message outlining what might be wrong, and even gave me tips on how I could go about trying to diagnose and fix this myself, which I had hoped to do. This included information on what to test, where to find key components in the house that would need inspection, and how to replace said components. When I still couldn't get it to work, I called him back with more questions and he was happy to provide even more information, including texting me several example pictures of the component I needed to find (a transformer). In the end I couldn't find it and so had to have him come in to take a look. He arrived exactly on time for the appointment, in clean clothes, with all necessary equipment in hand. The repair ended up requiring getting in to the attic and crawlspaces in our bedroom, so he very carefully laid out plastic all around the floor and on our bed to make sure nothing would get dirty when he climbed back out covered in dust and insulation. He eventually found the transformer tucked away in an obscure location in the wall, which he fixed on the spot before cleaning everything up. Jeff's attention to detail, competence, professionalism, and most importantly, his absolute commitment to customer service (even when it might prevent him from getting actual business) have earned him a lifelong customer. These are 5 stars much deserved.

I am a real estate agent and had a listing in which the main circuit breaker was stolen from the property. This caused the house to have no electricity at all. I turned to my trusted Yelpers to look for an experienced electrician to identify and install this missing part, and I found Jeff.

Jeff was very patient and helpful from the beginning in answering all of my initial questions about this repair. It was so hard to find an electrician who 1) answers the phone or calls back in a timely manner 2) had the time to even do the repair 3) willing to do a ""small job"" as some would call it 4) didn't charge a trip charge just to come out and check out the issue (the initial quote). He was quick and thorough with the job and made sure it was done the right way. He is a very honest electrician, and in doing so, helped us cut some costs and time!

Payment was easy as he has a Square swiper, so I just gave him my credit card and he emailed the receipt. Simple as that! His pricing is very reasonable when I was comparing to other places.

From reading his other reviews, he even does other jobs as well. In fact, as he was out there at the property, he even took a look at the garage door which was off the tracks and fixed that for me too! I didn't even ask! So thoughtful. I am definitely going to keep Jeff in mind if I have other electrical issues. Thank you so much Jeff!

I'm pretty good at do-it-yourself projects but when my microwave, lights, and outlets stopped working on one wall, I had no idea what happened. Checked the GFI and breakers and everything looked okay so I called Jeff at 10:00 a.m. and he came out that evening! Thankfully it was an easy fix (loose connection in the outlet which he replaced) that took him maybe 15 minutes to fix. He said he still had to charge me the full fee (which was a very reasonable price) and there was still time so was there anything else he wanted me to have him look at! Who does that?!! Anyone else would have still charged the full fee and left. Not Jeff!! He replaced a couple of other outlets and a three-way switch that never worked right...it works properly now!!! He was so professional, didn't speak to me like I didn't know anything, and actually spent time telling me exactly what he was doing, provided insight on future things I should have replaced (since my house is getting older) and gave me tips for the next time I might get another loose connection! I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a GREAT electrician!!
