I hired Jeff to troubleshoot a ceiling fan that was stuck in the ""On"" position due to a pull chain that had broken off inside the motor unit of the fan, as well as to get quotes for other electrical work I was considering. He was on time, very professional, easy to work with (and communicate with), and did an excellent job both with the ceiling fan and other work I ended up hiring him for, including installing a new back porch light fixture. I especially appreciated that he calmly and clearly explained options that were the most cost-effective for my particular electrical work. I definitely feel like I've found in Jeff an electrician I can trust, one who charges reasonable prices and does excellent and thorough work, and I will be hiring him again this Spring for more pre-Summer electrical work. I highly recommend him.

I needed a fairly straight forward job - an outlet change so I could hook up my dryer. I had an electrician come out and look at it, say he would fix it and then went MIA after multiple attempts to reach him.

After giving up on him, I called 10-15 electricians and only received 2 calls back, one was Jeff. To my surprise he told me he could come over late that evening - awesome! He showed up on time, was super professional and knowledgable, gave me some advice after looking at my circuit breakers, changed out my outlet and made sure we got the dryer up and running. He also charged way less than one of the bigger companies quoted me.

Lost power to my house last night, called 1Source to leave a message- Jeff offered to come out right away (!!!)- it was raining like hell and midnight, so we made an appointment for this morning (note- he was TOTALLY willing to come out, I just didn't want to put him through that). He showed up exactly on time, and spent an hour looking at stuff and troubleshooting- very clean and professional and absolutely no BS. He told us what we'd figured- it was a BIG job, and was honest that it wasn't within his scope. He gave us some referrals and ballpark estimates and refused to charge us for the hour he spent. That is really cool for a small businessperson to do- he just gave us his time. Anyway, Jeff will Be first on my list for any smaller problems, and I totally appreciated his professionalism and kindness.

After reading reviews on Yelp, I contacted Jeff about wiring a new pool pump and changing out some outdoor outlets in our backyard. He arrived on time and with the parts that he would need to do the job and quoted me a price for the time he expected it to take. I was very impressed by his work and would recommend him to anyone who's needs it done right the first time.

We have a 1950s house and over the years have been told by the electrician we were using that we would eventually need to replace our circuit breaker panel. On Monday, our power started surging, power turned on and off in rooms, and it was clear we had a serious issue on our hand. Buying the line we had been told for so long, we assumed we would need to replace the panel, which of course is a considerable job. Source Electric came over and for a very acceptable fee informed us that the issue we had encountered was something SMUD needed to resolve. They called SMUD, passed on the information, SMUD came and resolved the issue, and two hours later Source Electric called to check up on our progress.

I try to avoid social media at all costs, but I feel the service provided by this company requires that I break my social media rule.

I lost power to part of my house and could not locate the reason. Jeff came out to investigate the issue and try to isolate the trouble. Come to find out, I have a very oddly wired home. Not only did Jeff locate the reason for the power loss and repair the connection, he took the time and effort to clean up ""ugly"" connections he found during his trouble shooting. I could not be happier with:

And most of all, the demonstrated level of knowledge and skill.
